What/Who is The Blunt Joint?

Curious About Cannabis? / The Blunt Joint (TM 97840445) is a Cannabis Advising/Coaching entity. The Blunt Joint is NOT licensed as a medical or legal practice nor provides medical or legal advice. Simply put, we facilitate discussions to better inform persons on how the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) & Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) operate, how to find & navigate state/federal regulations, the use of Cannabis at the individual level as well as community events & discussions. Founder, Marcus "Manny" Alfinez is a 20+ year Army Veteran turned Cannabis Sommelier / Advisor. Manny entered the Florida Cannabis industry in 2018 as a delivery driver, was the assistant manager of and opened two dispensaries, then turned to a Medical Marijuana Clinic as the Cannabis Practice Manager & Cannabis Advisor. His ambitions led to the building of The Blunt Joint during his experiences in the industry in order to fill the gap so that clients have a smoother transition from using pharmaceuticals to using cannabis and hopefully saving hundreds of dollars while finding a better quality of life.

What is the difference between The Blunt Joint and a Medical Marijuana Clinic?

You will still be required to visit a Medical Marijuana Clinic to receive a certification for licensing. The difference is the information being provided, retainability, and cost. Discussions are typically one hour long for personal sessions and 2 hours long for a group discussion (12 persons). This typically happens after one is already licensed but cannot find full relief, having difficulties with navigating dispensaries, or any other issues/concerns with regards to the cannabis industry. Still, it is very beneficial to be informed prior to scheduling a medical appointment. This is NOT for any other reason other than to be informed, know what questions to ask, and retain information being provided by the Medical Marijuana Clinic.

Most Medical Marijuana Clinics charge between$180-$300 for an initial consultation (15-30min). After which a 210 Day /7 Month Renewal (5-10min) is required by law and may cost between $99-$180 /7mo. Telemedicine is available and may influence the price being paid. To be eligible for telemedicine, a patient must be seen by the physician in person for the initial visit. Most clinics suggest the pricing is based on services provided. Such as Cannabis Consultation along with Certification vs. only Certification. The Blunt Joint is here to help you navigate all aspects of the industry. Both clinical & dispensary sides. This, more often than not. takes at least one hour of discussion. Not 15-30 minutes. The Blunt Joint is hoping to collaborate with local clinics in hopes of providing better services to the client. If you are interested in collaborating or have questions, please email TheBluntJoint420@gmail.com
